About Coach Antoine Trifonov

My soccer journey began when I was five years old. I played professionally back home, which fueled my passion for the game, then moved to the United States to study and keep playing at the college level.

My first stop was Post University in Connecticut, where I played for three years. We won three consecutive championships and reached the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament twice, a historic run for the program. In my final year, I was named an All-American.

I then transferred to Maryville University, one of the best decisions I've made. I played a key role in helping the team reach the NCAA Elite Eight, and the friendships I built there have shaped who I am today.

Now I coach players in St. Louis, from age 7 through college. I focus on core skills: ball control, technique, speed, agility and confidence on the ball. I also care about teamwork, hard work and sportsmanship, so players grow on and off the field.

Players I've coached have gone on to play for clubs and schools including Juventus youth, Valencia CF youth and Saint Louis Scott Gallagher. The credit belongs to them.
